![]() It's not an easy thing to do - there are alternative programs like Notion 3 which look and sound great (mixer looks a lot better imo) but when I tried it simple things like note input are just so counter intuitive that I abandoned it quickly and went back to Sibelius. Daniel (the Sibelius / Avid Senior Product Manager) has recently mentioned though that while a lot is in development, the primary focus will be on the notational features of Sibelius. Yes, I hear you about the closer integration of Sibelius and pro tools, I'd like that too (ideally I'd like to have an environment where you can work on one score in Sibelius and simultaneously tweak the midi notes and work with audio files, all fully automated and synced). Platinum Samples - Military Cadence MIDI Groove Library. ![]() Not a very elegant solution, especially from a visual / notation point of view, and I am sure there are smarter ways to about it (and I'll confess that I am no expert in percussion notation and am easily confused), but it works. In my experience it is easier to use a non percussion staff / instrument (eg Piano) and just use force assign that to the instrument loaded in Addictive Drums that way you have access to all midi notes (whether by banging on your midi keyboard or by manually entering notes). If there is no soundset (and I don't believe there is) you'll have to create a manual soundset see the Reference.
